I very much prefer wired over wireless. I don't need another thing that requires charging or batteries.

I got these last year and have only used them once or twice.

The sound quality is reminiscent of solo cups with string. People in my party complained that I sounded like I was down the hallway. Everything sounded hollow and tinny.

A lot of mixed reviews saying quality is rubbish. Seems like the normal price for these is now $29.99.

Kids coming over to sit on my lap also makes wireless 100% better. Delay is almost nonexistent, but who knows maybe I'm just unaware.

Cheap and wired is the way to go if you have kids playing online games. I would never spend more than $20 on a headset for the kids.

Some headsets mention that they're not compatible with certain XBOX models and this one didn't list anything but "XBOX" in the ad.

It's a wired headset... It's going to be compatible with anything that has 3.5mm.

Wired, depending on the model and care, can last a lifetime. Wireless, the battery will die eventually, may not be user replaceable, and may not be operational while connected to a charging cable.

Check your local Marshalls, they have tons of these and the 200 versions for 20-30$. A lot of Jbl stuff ended up in Marshalls this month
