Bandai Namco's website has Elden Ring Collector's Edition available for all systems. It's MSRP but sold out by most online retailers. Ebay scalpers are charging double the price. Just in case you are looking for it. They do charge $20 shipping.

Preordering period is a mistake unless you want to support the developers no matter the quality of the game.
From Software has a good track record.
But development cycles are different each time.
I dont know man, theyve built a pretty good track record to be fair and upfront with fans with what theyre getting. They even had a beta for this game a couple weeks ago lol, for a single player game with only some multiplayer features.
I agree with not preordering 95% of games, but I think there needs to be some context when making these decisions. Its a collectors edition, that won't be availible after launch other than on Ebay for $500+, for a game that clearly has much effort and care put into it from a developer that has made a ton of fan-friendly decisions. $190 is a lot of money, but I dont really see how someone preordering in this case is being unreasonable or doing it for no good reason.
Hell, even the standard edition pre-order comes with a cool steelbook case from Best Buy. Its at least a 20-30 hour game made by From Software after they just made Bloodborne, Old Hunters DLC, Dark Souls 3, Two DLCs for that, and Sekiro. All games I would consider some of the best Ive ever played. I think it's worth me supporting them at full price, and also getting something extra out of it in return. Pretty reasonable preorder in this case.

I am excited for this game. I dont think from software has ever put out a bad game until they forced you into the bad gameplay in sekiro, although neither had cd projekt red...

Thanks for correcting me. I preordered a while ago without out using the pop up ad so I thought I was missing out on the savings.
Unless you need the statue and whatnot, I'd wait. This stuff usually drops in price like crazy.

I'm not spending $150+ on a preorder lol.
