Gonna go against the grain here but my experience with this mug was terrible. The mug would only connect if I repaired it every single time I wanted to use it.I have an Android phone and from what I have read from reviews it plays nicely with Apple not so much with Android, which was my case. The battery life sucked. If I just left the phone on I would watch the battery drop 5-10% in five minutes time not doing anything. I tried putting half cup of lukewarm water in it and heating it up to 145 degrees . It couldn't do it. It stayed around 110 for over 30 minutes and the battery dropped over 50% during that time. Contacted customer support. They told me to pour something in that was 165 degrees and see if that works. Well yeah. It's gonna seem like it works because I am putting something in that is 20 degrees hotter. I did it. Still didn't work. The worst part is I sent 3 different emails back and they ignored every one. They don't have phone support either.. I probably would give another one a crack, but after they ignored me and I spent $100+ on a coffee mug, I'm done. Returned it. Sucks too because I really wanted this to work. Just my experience.

Isn't it cheaper to make another cup or use one of the cheaper heaters, $100 after tax price seems ridiculous to me.

Bought one for the wife for Christmas and just ordered this for myself. It's completely unnecessary and a frivolous bougie expense.

However, it works perfectly and is incredible.

Did have some issues updating the firmware (for a coffee mug..
I know) but got it to work eventually by hitting the power button on the mug when it hangs at 50% trying to reconnect.

🤷

Got one as a gift on Christmas. I was a little skeptical at first but then started to "warm" up to it after using it. still think it's overpriced at a hundred bucks though!

Will this heat up from room temperature? Or not enough juice for that?
I tried once while it was on the charging station. it will heat up from room temperature but it takes long time.

Already have 2 at our home but ordered 2 more for the lake house as well. Why not save $20. So many people online hating how others spend money. It's highly entertaining. I'll enjoy my perfect temp coffee and laugh at these comments all morning.

Also, they work great. I enjoy my coffee at a constant temp if the children slow my drinking on said morning before their nanny shows up and I can then drink coffee quickly as the work day starts.

Loved it when Target had them for $14 for a bit (price mistake a few months ago). But even at that price I couldn't bring myself to open the box to use it. I can see the use for some people but I am always on the go….

Too many negative reviews on Costco about very short battery life to irregular temperature.
Not sure it's worth $100.

Seems like a (expensive) solution to a nonexistent problem.

For those who argue a thermos mug will do the same job for cheaper, here's my views:
1. this mug is energy inefficient, no doubt about it
2. the major point of using this mug, is to keep the beverage at the preferred drinking temperature, no other mug can do the same unless you use an external device to control the ambient tempreture
3. too expensive, yes, not ceramic (health concern - ceramic coating over metal), yes, capacity sucks - the bottom part of the mug is used to control temperature
