I prefer the thick version of the works also and was able to get some of that the last time I bought it. However I use the runny stuff must of the time and keep the gel for the really really really bad stuff. However I have found that even the basic works still works much much better than Lysol or the likes. The thin stuff works great at water lines and below, just let it soak. If it's above the water line I use it like normal then as it is soaking in the bowl, come back and use the brush to splash it up the side a few times. Works like magic.
Which version is thick? This one https://www.homedepot.com/p/The-W.../300813950

or this one?

How about the toilet bowl cleaner tablets?

Thanks

Just a reminder that NOTHING is flushable except the 3 P's (the last one being TOILET Paper and I'm sure you know the first two Ps) That is if you are the one that owns the home or pays for unclogging
Never had a problem beyond the usual plunging every now again due to elephant poops from visitors. Just keep it REASONABLE.

Try Magic Eraser. I got the huge pack from Costco on sale before. So worth it!

I've used the pink flowery scent version of this same Scrubbing Bubbles cleaner and it's essentially worthless. Does nothing to remove stains, and 90% of the work is done by the toilet brush anyway. It's basically like just scrubbing with the water that's already in the bowl but with a nauseating fake flower scent.

I have a spare bathroom that does not get used much and it had the black ring at the water line that I couldn't get rid of for years. Several different cleaners, brushes, magic erasers, etc. and nothing would take it off 100%. I just settled for "clean enough" and lived with the line.

At some point, I bought Walmart's Great Value Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Bleach [walmart.com] and it 100% removed the stain line. What's even better is it required no scrubbing whatsoever. I shot the cleaner around the bowl, forgot all about it and came back a few hours later to a bowl that looked like new. I couldn't believe it. I thought someone else came behind me and scrubbed the bowl but they didn't.

So if you have an issue with the water level stain line, give the Walmart cleaner a shot. I'm sure it's just a rebranded version of some other manufacturer's cleaner, but for around $1.50 a bottle, it's definitely worth trying.
Funny, that stuff did jack shi+ when I tried a 2 pack not long ago.

Darn the bleach version is out. When I moved on the toilet had this ring that scrubbers couldn't get out. I thought it was just going to be that way. I even got this brick thing that sands it down which was nice but wasn't a good idea to keep using every few weeks. I finally bought the scrubbers bleach one day when it was on sale and when I came back my toilet was super white. It works out since it's cheap and works for my toilet while other brands just does nothing.

I got one of these from Walmart a while back and I don't notice any difference. It's also awkward seeing something in the toilet. I prefer the Clorox tabs you just toss in the tank every other month.

Thought the 6 count meant 6 fresh gel dispensers. Only one dispenser with 6 stamps.

The packaging is different than mine, but if I had to guess I would say that the pointy top one is thicker than the flat top.

Never used or even looked at the tablets.

Each gel is only good for up to 12 days. I guess what can you expect when you get 6 gels for $3. So it's costing about $1.50/month/toilet.

Sam's Club has the Clorox toilet tablets that are 6 tablets for $10. But each tablet lasts 3 months. So those tablets are about 55-cents/month/toilet.

Is this better than lysol toilet bowl cleaner? We moved and this house had black rings or water streaks. Tried to eliminate them and they are being stubborn even with clorox, lysol, brush. It is not 100% gone but much of it is gone. Wondering if scrubbing bubbles is magical and will remove it 100%
this is more of a preventative for those rings...however it ultimately depends on the water quality I find..this is not a scrub that will just magically make those marks disappear
