Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid Lemonade, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab. (Powerade & Zero & Minute Maid Juices in the big black caps no longer have UTC codes.)

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

- drink soda
- participate/lurk on this board
- ask friends/family/neighbors/co-workers to save
- dumpster diving
- jumping out of cars upon seeing flaps on the side of the road
- referring a friend on the site
- ask Maids to save for those who travel
- ask recycling centers to save
- purchase on eBay
- sporting events, zoos, parks, etc
- make trades
- become buddies with vending machine stockers
- become the vending machine stocker

Similar to your trying to enter codes and getting hit w/ fraud protection, once I called a fast food chain to commend an employee and was shunted around and put on hold for, I kid you not, some 20 minutes. No good deed goes unpunished, indeed :-)

It just takes so long to input codes and with my vision even with the old flash light trick it is so hard to see letters especially counting some are all twisted around on caps, the C0KE APP will not even read them correct! I remember a while back us talking about the Powerade caps' codes being all scrambled out though the cap and letters were huge. Applause

IIRC there's a $25 minimum for cheques to be sent out.
So - I guess a lot of Schools will never receive their Donations because the Minimum amount was not met:

"When will schools receive the Coca-Cola donations?
Funds will be disbursed to schools before the end of the 2023 calendar year, if a school's balance has reached the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) direct deposit or physical check thresholds, as outlined here. If a school's EFT information is on file, the minimum disbursement amount is $10. Otherwise, the minimum disbursement amount is $25 and the school will receive a check in the mail."

I can confirm that the school I have donated to has received their checks. I've been putting in codes for my neighbors school (Assumption School) and they have let me know each time they received one and were very grateful for it.

Maybe _that_ is what they mean by "any remaining value" -- i.e. school donations that didn't make the $25 minimum will be swept up and donated to Boys & Girls Clubs. Sounds more plausible to me than coke taking an early writeoff and now having to make good.

I have accumulated hundreds of caps waiting to use them for my benefit, like free movie tickets or other goodies. It's been disappointing to see that now that the program is on the way out, the only way to redeem them is to donate.

Forget it, I'm not going to waste my time capturing hundreds of codes for something that will not give me benefit. Instead I'm just going to throw them all away.

If it doesn't benefit me, I am not spending time.

Started Spring cleaning … as I run across them I will toss them I guess … did a handful today from the junk on top of the faux fireplace

My sister is a teacher. My donation total for her school is $145.49 as of today. I'm plugging away using the scan method when it works and typing them up, too! I can't throw away money, but it sure is fun to toss those used caps.
