Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid Lemonade, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab. (Powerade & Zero & Minute Maid Juices in the big black caps no longer have UTC codes.)

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

I started my Google Voice account a couple of decades after I got the associated gmail account, but only recently started using GV for these Coke promos. When I set it up, it assigned me a number for my area, but it is not associated with a landline or cell. It is purely a GV number. Seems to work just fine and haven't gotten any indication Google is going to close it or anything.

You may be proving his point though. You made thr number decades ago. Pretty certain you have to have a number tied to new accounts.

All new GV accounts need a brand new number and it cannot be any disposable, VoIP or random one and actually has to be registered to a mobile carrier which is why its so hard to make one if you already used any previous numbers.

I am? OK, I guess. The gmail account is old, but the GV feature for it is new. I mean, I just started it a couple of months ago. But if it's when the base gmail account establishment date that matters, then roger that.

Then you didn't make a Google voice account decade's ago, you only made your Gmail account decades ago?

Anyways one sure way to know is to try making another Google voice account.

Has anyone tried using the AMC vouchers from the sprite promo? Black ticket is coming up as invalid bunch of zeros at the end of the voucher barcode same thing with the popcorn one to but haven't tried that yet.

So I went to try one out and do a mock booking and you are right they are coming out as invalid and the there are 8 zero's at the end. The tickets are no good. But thanks for the tip and letting us know. Looks like someone messed up big time with this.

I also found another separate voucher and same thing the Tickets, Popcorn and Drink all have a bunch of zero's at the end and are invalid. Tried entering the voucher number and pin that has the zero's and also comes up as invalid! Looks like every ticket that was emailed to everyone from the Sprite promo is no good! They should re-issue these to everyone and have better quality assurance for such a error to be sent in mass to many people.

I cannot speak to right this moment, but one of the two accounts I use is a Google account created within the past year and the Google Voice number about 2-3 months back. No connection to a land line or cell line - just a standalone Google Voice number.

You are good for donating. I was doing it for Special Olympics but now they have removed it. Maybe less people donated so they removed it. But that's a big bummer. It wasn't a lot of money, but I was happy to take the time to do it when I had time.

I stated it a little less clearly than I though in my first reply on this topic. I intended to say that my first gmail account was set up soon after they started offering them for free through a referral. And only a couple of months ago did I set up Google Voice for it. Never had a need before.

If you set up the GV account a couple years ago, that's probably correct. I don't know exactly when they changed things, but now you have to have a connected phone number, or else they won't assign you a number. If you created a GV account a while ago without a connected number and used the number consistently enough, (I think once every 6 months is the minimum) then yes, you can still use it.

I'm not sure exactly when it changed. You could still do it within the last 3 years or so, but 2 month seems pretty recent. I didn't think it was possible that recently.

I have a dozen or so Gmail accounts that are more than a decade old, and I'm not able to make new GV accounts on them anymore without connecting a real number. I used to be able to -- in fact, I had GV numbers on several of them that expired because I didn't use them enough. Perhaps your real phone number is already connected to your Google account through other services?
