Welcome to the official SD Coca-Cola.com/offers / Formerly My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk rewards since 2006! (We often discuss Coke promotions, (texting games, sweepstakes, etc.), which use Coke/MCR/codes or membership info to signup.)

The promotions continue:

Check the +one app for promos

Site: https://us.coca-cola.com/plusone

Scroll to the 2nd Wiki for Coke AMOE links!

A toast to My Coke Rewards, the Greatest Rewards Program in History! Applause

Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid Lemonade, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab. (Powerade & Zero & Minute Maid Juices in the big black caps no longer have UTC codes.)

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

- Where do you find all the codes?
Here are a few ways...
- drink soda
- participate/lurk on this board
- ask friends/family/neighbors/co-workers to save
- dumpster diving
- jumping out of cars upon seeing flaps on the side of the road
- referring a friend on the site
- ask Maids to save for those who travel
- ask recycling centers to save
- purchase on eBay
- sporting events, zoos, parks, etc
- make trades
- become buddies with vending machine stockers
- become the vending machine stocker

I called the customer service number on the back of the card, and was informed that Visa gift cards can't be used for any "recurring" bills. He confirmed it couldn't be used for ANY utility bills, or subcriptions like Netflix.

So far I have only used it at RiteAid, and it wouldn't go through there until we chose "credit" instead of "debit". I was offered the option to get up tp $40 cash back. Thinking back, I should have taken it. These cards are a pain to use,
You should be able to buy a Netflix gc at amazon with it

Thanks, but I dropped Netflix long ago. It was just one of the specific items the rep gave as an example of a reocurring charge.

Yes, I saw the no-recurring-billing at https://www.yourrewardcard.com/#/faq [yourrewardcard.com] . Another section mentioned getting cash back at ATMs, but I hadn't considered it so thx for the heads up. Surprisingly they say it can be used worldwide.

I was able to use my entire $150 card to pay my city water/sewage/garbage bill and end up with a credit. Each city has its own system, so who knows where else it will work but it's worth a try.

I've also had success using my city bill to drain cards when I get smaller denomination (e.g., $15) prepaid VISA or MC cards. I just select the total amount of the card, even if it's lower than my actual bill, select pay, and it goes through.
You're right that each municipality's payment processor must have different guidelines. At least I didn't see anything in the card's faq about it being unusable for 1-off utility payments. From WilliamZX11's heads up, may as well make a few in-store purchases, get $40 cash back each time.

As at least 1 person has indicated before the card comes already activated. Still, at yourrewardcard.com they have instructions with numbers to call to activate cards, and a link whereby to activate it, which I did. They ask for an "access code" during activation, which is really just a pin you set (which could alternately be set at time of first purchase). Anyway, I used it at a whole foods register just earlier, as debit, and it went through fine; didn't offer an option for cashback; next time I'll try a store such as CVS (or RiteAid mentioned earlier) which does.

What rewards program offers $40 cash back on 3 $50 purchases…..so $120 back total?

I think you misunderstood. After running the card for a $4.23 purchase, it asked if I also wanted cash back, $10, $20, $30, or $40. It wasn't a reward, it would take it off the remaining balance of the card.

Assuming that question's not rhetorical, the promo was "recipe for magic" running early-april to late-may, one of its prizes was a 6-pack of name-personalized bottles of coke and a $150 mastercard. From the card's FAQ: "Can I get cash at an ATM with my Reward Card?
Please see your Cardholder Agreement to find out if you have Cash Access with your Card. If you have Cash Access, use the Card to obtain cash from an Automated Teller Machine ("ATM"), Point-of-Sale ("POS") device or by any other means."

Well there goes my idea of using it for an Apple TV 3 month promotion I got with an iPhone 12 win recently. Thanks for the info!

Okay who is going to try it first to see if they get cash back?! Popcorn magnest, when are you going to be near CVS or RiteAid again? nodWinkbulb

I think Wal-Mart offers it at self checkout with a debit but if something goes wrong there good luck to me, lol.

I wrote to coke about the server saying access denied..... I guess those folks working there are brain dead, drunk or simply they are using a copy paste script system without reading anything and this was their response it's just laughable.

"We're sorry you haven't received your digital reward. Be sure to check the notifications icon at the top of the Coke.com page, to claim your reward.

If you have claimed it, please allow 24 hours for your reward to arrive. Ensure that the email address associated with your account matches your current email address, and also please check your spam or junk folder. "

You're right I completely missed that. That was a weird one from Coke that I missed out on. I get burnt out on sweeps and have to take a break sometimes.

I got an email back from them with one the links I gave them and they sent me a screenshot as an attachment and said this " The URL previously associated with the prize will not work. We apologize for any inconvenience, You may wish to save a copy of this prize to your personal computer or device so you are able to preserve and use it in the future. But they basically said moving forward the links will never work again. I call BS!! They can simply just transfer the tickets from the old server to the new one, also it looks more like the tickets are online and just a permission issue on the server side which they refuse to change the security parameter to "Allow"

In order for them to recover you have to give them your name, name of the promotion, date it was won, your email it was won on and link.

Be sure to save your tickets on your computer going forward!! Lesson learned.

Yeah, I found the ones you were referring to which was the 2018 promos. I was surprised because that has never happened to me before. I sent email to csr with links taken down from Walmart and Target cards and they sent me new links for each. Was a godsend because two of the cards were $25 ones.🫣

To follow up - so did they send you a new link? Not sure if your issue was resolved.

They attached an image of the ticket to my email as a .png file and said to save it on my computer. They said the original links that say "Access Denied" will never work again which is why I am saying it's BS because they could have simply just transferred them to the server to work again instead of going through these hoops. I mean if they are able to access the links from the company computer don't understand why users cannot access the tickets and why they were taken down in the first place at such a random time right before the 4th of July Holiday weekend.

I may be the bearer of bad news: CVS self-serve kiosk rang up my $2 chips, asked if I wanted cash back, I selected $40, it hummed a bit, then said "use a different payment method". So I canceled out, then rang up and paid for just chips, and that went through.

Later, in preparing to look for a cardholder agreement, I look at the back of the card and it says "no cash or atm access". I'll still investigate some, but mostly just to satisfy myself :| I suspect the question's already answered.
