I bought 2 of the Bali 10 SS from Dick's this summer when they were on sale for $199. I used them once and then they were returned. The reviews are accurate. Not good at all. Seating is odd and you feel like you are sliding forward and have to constantly have pressure on the foot braces to sit up. Tracking on a smaller boat is always going to be less than ideal, but on these it was incredibly poor. The second you stop paddling the it starts turning. They just do not track at all. I think at $130 they would be ok for kids or something where maybe you had a small lake. Or if you had a cabin where you wanted some cheap water toys, but beyond that even at $130 they are just to frustrating to bother with

Good deal if you can find one in stock to pick up. Even better than BF ones.

I read in the reviews that this kayak is to be used on a river and all the bad reviews are from people trying to use it on flat water, in a lake and spinning in circles LOL.
I guess you are supposed to use a canoe on a lake and not a kayak?
I live 100 feet away from a river, so hopefully the Bali would be good for us!

That's odd...the URL here is https://dicks-sporting-goods.ryvx.net/ while the actual URL for Dick's is https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/

I found this link for the same item at Dick's:
https://www.dickssportinggoods.co...stnkykxpsk

Not sure what's going on there. What is ryvx.net?

EDIT: Oh, it looks like some kind of thing Slickdeals does to all Dick's links. It's causing me to get these errors:

This site can't provide a secure connectiondicks-sporting-goods.ryvx.net sent an invalid response.

Make sure to price compare with Wal-Mart who's deals often include a paddle. Dick's absolutely soaks you on paddles.

I have a 10' Sun Dolphin. They're absolutely for full size adults. My son has an 8' which I've actually seen an adult use as well just fine.

Thanks OP! Bought one Aruba and one Bali. Probably would've preferred both to be sit-in models but only one was available locally. Also thanks to the member for the paddle suggestion, picked up two of those as well since the kayaks don't come with them.
Don't feel bad if you miss this. It's a good price but Dicks puts the plastic kayaks on sale several times a year for $130-$150 sometimes with a coupon and usually in store. I have 4 of the Pelicans which have worked out well.

Take the reviews with a grain of salt; for many people this is not only a first kayak but a first boat.
