This seems like a good deal, anyone have feedback on this laptop? I'm looking to get this for my wife who needs it to work from home for her finance job.

As far as I know legion is considered amazing laptop, one of the best ones for 2021. I'm gonna get 3070 version for gaming. But since ur wife does finance I would look for something less heavy/bulky

Yeah do not go for a gaming laptop if your wife does finance and has no interest in playing video games on this. Gaming laptop has lesser battery life and more weight. Get one which is thin and lightweight instead like LG Gram series...

If it's stationary majority of the time and plugged in, it'll be great for working from home.
I have the 15" 4600H model and it does well.

Not sure of the rest of the details but reading some of the reviews on Walmart from customers state that the monitor is actually 60hz and not 144hz. If anyone can investigate, or update this post so it's more accurate.

Edit: confirmed from multiple customers who purchased and left reviews that it is actually 60hz and not 144hz. Please update the title.

don't have this exact model (running ryzen 4600h, gtx 1660ti, 15.6") but similar enough. i love it! runs well, screen looks great, trackpad works well. also a pretty decent price and can have some passable use for gaming if she wants that. but if it's really just for working at home for everyday use (internet browsing, emails, video chat, word processing, etc) you can probably find something cheaper.

My work laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad. It's been very dependable for the last 5 years of daily use.

She don't need a GPU and she will need longer battery time.

I've been looking to upgrade from my HP Envy. Is this a good enough laptop to play some games (not fps) on medium?

When the laptop is unplugged (running on battery) it cuts all its performance by half in a an attempt to lower battery use. Even something like Minecraft is completely unplayable unless you're in the wall 100% of the time. Great budget-wise, but only if it can be plugged in all the time.

Unless you're specifically looking for a Lenovo, this HP deal seems like it would be very good for her needs.
