I have this same size tub (Saluspa Hollywood) and previously had the Saluspa Havana, which is the 71" version.
A couple of important differences are the Hollywood and this Palm Springs in OP has just one inlet filter whereas the 71" versions have two. This means that the one filter in the newer 77" ones (which is the same VI filter type in both) gets dirtier a lot faster than the two filters do. Also, and more importantly, I've found it's harder to keep temperature in the newer one. It goes from 104 to 100 in no time once the cover is off. Recommend putting it on top of rigid foam. Even then, given the larger surface area and the lack of a second inlet, it still cools off faster.
