I've found this deal at my local store all Holiday season. Not in the normal holiday specials section but in a bin by electrical or lighting. Bought a few as gifts. These are great tools for basic electrical. The pen is a life saver as you cannot assume a wire is hot by its wire color.

This seems to be a frequent offer. I bought this the last time around after the NCVT detected high voltage in the branches of an artificial trees and a wooden leg of my desk.

Either the deal is dead or it's one of those YMMV deal (like most Lowe's deals these days - I get excited only to find that nothing around me is priced anywhere close to deal)

Some stores are regular price, check BS for the stores that have it at the lower price and change to that store on the HD website to see the lower price

This works. Ordered two to get free shipping and will return one. Let's see if the order gets cancelled since they are shipping to California.

i picked this up about a week go in store. the outlet tester is probably the best on the market. no trying to dicpher a dot matrix legend, and has hold function for outlets where you can't see the LED. And bc it's battery powered it will work on outlets even if the neutral and hot are reversed..
