Any good places to buy that you're aware of?

There are a few things I would not want to risk shipping, like chocolate in the middle of summer, a priceless crystal vase and an 80 oz bottle of liquid that dissolves cardboard

Project Farm did a video on drain clog remover. Drano is much cheaper than lye. Drano works better in bacon grease. Drano was only slightly corrosive on metal while lye was not. Everything else, drano and lye performed the same.

edit: drano worked for me 100% of the time I've used it for hair clogs. I can say without a doubt, it's not a waste of money, especially when it's cheaper than lye

I have ordered draino from Amazon before and it did exactly this. They refunded, but lol.

Just came to say if you're dissatisfied with draino, give green gobbler a try. You can get 1-gal jugs at HD for ~$18, and it clears drains better without damaging metal finishes.

Or just try baking soda, vinegar, and boiling hot water. Always has fixed my drain issues.

Doesn't clear drains effectively. Then either you or a plumber has to now clear a stopped drain holding a caustic fluid which can splash everywhere.

As a former plumber, the only drain cleaner worth it's salt that I could recommend is Thrift.
Drano is only 1-5% sodium hydroxide (5-10% bleach, and 5-10% salt). Thrift appears to be 99% sodium hydroxide (lye), so those looking for pure lye, Thrift looks like a good option.

A thin and flexible metal wire. Bend the tip into a hook, then fish the hair out. If you have a tub, the overflow drain may be a better place to get in than the floor drain.

being proactive with a stainless steel tubshroom.

I bought 2 - when one gets clogged I rotate it out and use this draino solution in a stainless steel bowl and let it sit overnight. It eats away at all the crap and looks like new. Then dump the solution down the drain as routine maintenance to help clean up. No more clogged drains.
