i really like the leather desk mat aesthetic, but in my experience, the mouse movement isn't as smooth as a typical mousepad. i'm sure it won't bother a lot of people, but wanted to share my experience if that's important for some people. i eventually switched over to a aukey deskpad. it's not as professional looking, but the mouse glides much more smoothly.

If its a liquidation sale, yes. These fake descriptions should be banned on amazon. Most sellers are honest and say "PU leather"
