Do these go on sale somewhat often around this price? I won't need this for another 2 years but will consider picking up if these never go on sale.

You should be fine. They usually go on sale like twice a year. Dillards also carries one that is around this price normally because it uses fabric that isn't as nice.

The Nordstrom one is definitely nicer, but the difference between them isn't that substantial. Save your money and ride out the infant seat as long as possible.

Agree with the other poster; you should be good to wait. Sales are rare but should happen again before you need it. These also have an expiration date so not worth starting the clock early if you have or are planning to have multiple kids.

I didn't know there was a difference between the Rava at Dillards vs. Nordstrom. How substantial is the difference and are they at least both non-flame retardant? Also any idea how this one is at normal price $550 vs. the $500 one? It seemed like the only difference was color but I can't be sure.

Its a great deal! But buy it later. Car seats have a 10 year expiration. This is the lowest I've seen it since their increase. They have the Nordstrom Annual Sale in July - August.

Nuna Rava expires in 10 years after the manufacture date, and a kid can use it until around 65lb. Buying too early may lose time values if you plan to use it for multiple kids.

Better quality fabric, material, steel frame, R&D, more attention to detail and features. I think if the parent has the financial means to get the higher end ones, by all means go for it. Otherwise Graco 4ever is the way to go. This is all my personal opinion

For reference here's the cheapest convertible car seat I found at Walmart https://www.walmart.com/ip/Cosco-...hbdg=L1600

It'll probably quiet your kids permanently tho in the event of an accident

You don't want to buy a seat 2 years in advance... they are only good a set amount of years, you don't want to cut into that time if possible.
