I like the idea of engineering with a sledge hammer. Probably great for computer work!

Seriously, good deal post. Lowe's near me has this for $9.97, and also it's baby brother 2.08-lb Truper sledge for $10.77

Oh ya, they're great for Percussive Maintenance.

They're also pretty great for spontaneous decommission of company assets.

Picked up one a few weeks ago for $8 I think. Carried it around the store while I was looking around. Felt good in the hand so it had to come home with me. Nice handle with comfortable grip.

Ah yes, the Engineering Sledge Hammer. I've been in a few design reviews where I wish I had one of these puppies at the ready.

Engineering sledge hammers are extremely effective at dealing with architects. Or so I'm told.

These are the kinds of tools where Harbor Freight shines. Same tool made in China just cheaper at HF. Having said that I would have grabbed one if it had been available in my area. Sledge hammers are indispensable in building larger structures. When the foundation of my shed got too big to move, and I needed to square it up, bumping it on the corner with the full grown version would get it back in line. I called it my "persuader."
