I finally got it working and the Cherry on Snow, Red Raspberries, Passion fruit all sold out when I went to checkout.

Oh well. I still have 12-14 candles from the lockdown Kringle Candle sale.

I like candles and Yankee is decent, but I could never buy them due to the grandma style presentation. I do better at discounters.

If you use a lot of candles, consider making your own. Incredibly easy and affordable which is why you see so many people make and sell their own candles on eBay, etsy, amazon, etc., Yankee Candles is easily making 90% gross margins on these candles.
Yeah it's not that easy, try it yourself. You'd have to spend months if not years to get a recipe as close as Yankee candle. They have a way to mix a lot of essential oil into a candle than possible normally and that's not at all easy to do unlike the Etsy money grabbers.
Also good essential oil ain't cheap.

For these, absolutely.

I'd bite but I already bought too many candles.

These might also make for cheap covid tests.
$10.00 is fantastic deal on Yankee candles. Here's why: They last super long time. I mean they easily double other candles in burn time. And they actually do make your whole house smell good!!

I think the deal is dead. The candles are coming up as $15.50, not $10 before the 15% off.
Quote from TidalWaveOne :
Hmmm.... why isn't the code mentioned? Try using 10JAR122 . Have to be signed in... and code won't work with any other discount codes either... so no extra 15% off.
Quote from DontTaxBeer :
same. i'll go shop around my local stores and see if they have any deals. shipping would have killed this deal anyway.
Quote from Greenhill :
They were never $8.50. You can only enter one code and that makes them $10.
Quote from ChicoDad :
More discounts available.

Coupon 10JAR122 works too and for bigger discount.
Links are fixed, sorry. Discounts still stack, but you have to shop through the link in order to layer the email code http://vvcap.com/tIccgQhJI

Their WoodWicks have some 50% clearance as well. Making them $15.50ea. for the large hourglass and three wick "eclipse" candles.

I've already seen it done. My cousin does it as a side hustle and makes them in batches every couple of weeks. There is no 'recipe' that you have to follow precisely and all measurements are online depending on how strong you want the scent. You just don't want to add too much because it can burn too quick. Ever baked a cake? It's literally the same as measuring it as such.

Good essential oil isn't cheap but if you make candles often, buying a big bottle will last you a long time. At the end of the day, if you're making your own candles, you are saving money so I highly doubt the cost of the essential oil is the dealbreaker....

Months and years? LOL.... dude, this isn't rocket science. Everything you wrote sounds like you must sell candles for a living and don't want any competitors or you have an ownership stake in Yankee candles.

Any websites or YouTube videos you recommend? I can search but I thought I would ask if you have any that you have found extremely useful.
Just youtube and sort by views. It's almost all the same minus a few technique differences.

just buy the wax (i prefer soy), melt it down, measure essential oil (if you want the scent, if not skip), you can add candle dyes if you want but it is completely optional. it does not change the effectiveness of the candle and only adds color for presentation. Have your jars ready and buy premium quality candle wicks, stick it in the middle of the jar and pour the melted wax.

The measurements and temperature to do the above are explained in the video. I don't quite remember it but really simple. Makes great cheap gifts and if you have kids, it would probably be fun for them to help.
