Edit: I got around this by entering a phone number in the "optional" phone number field.

That's what I've read in reviews. I am getting one as a backup case if my leather one gets damaged. Everyone wanted the navy blue, as expected, but the red will contrast nicely with a blue phone.

In contrast to the peeling/chipping experience others seem to have – I've had the black version of this case on my phone for the last 7 months, and it's showing normal wear, but haven't had any chips or peeling that other people seem to be complaining about.

On the other hand, another member of my household had a pink case and it chipped in two spots within the first month. I was surprised to see that – which makes me wonder if there's a difference in durability depending on the color.

I have one of these on my iPhone 12. Just over a year and the silicon is peeling substantially, the corners are missing silicon with staggered tears. This case isn't worth more than what it's being sold at.

Definitely a great price. I'm not wild about the feel of this style of case. Just know that it's a lot more grip than most, even sliding in/out of pocket has traction/resistance. Which can be a benefit for sure, it's just annoyingly good at not slipping

I bought one at the time I got my iPhone 12 & I use it occasionally but I find the silicone to be a little slippery.

Edit: maybe I'm confusing my cases, I'll throw it back on my phone and see how it feels
