- Select a location and pickup method
- Tap Hamburgers and add Dave's Single Sandwich to your cart
- Valid for the a la carte item only
- Add any other item to your cart
- Note, Junior Classic Frosty's are $1
- Proceed to checkout and verify the offer is applied

I had a 'Friday Freebies' (good today only) of a Spicy Chicken sandwich free with medium fry purchase. After uploading the Dave's Single offer, my Spicy Chicken deal was no longer listed.
Only two offers remain besides daves single: buy 1 premium burger get 1 for $1, and $2 off any premium combo.

That would explain why they changed it to medium frry from "any purchase".
You used to be able to get the free sandwich with a junior fry purchase for .99 cents.

Looks like you got bamboozled.
At least there was a mention of a workaround by making a temp mobile order for users that lose it.
