It's a decent port. It has some frame rate issues that I wasn't expecting for such an old game. It's uncapped and varies a lot depending on the situation. Sometimes you'll get 60 FPS and others you'll get in the low 30s, but it didn't distract too much since the game doesn't really rely on having a rock-solid frame rate. I also had several crashes while playing through it, so be sure to save often or you're going to lose progress at a time or two. It autosaves, but that's only between zone transitions and you can spend over an hour in some of the areas if you're just playing it for the first time. My biggest gripe was not being able to queue up several actions and let them play out like I could on the PC, led to me having to micromanage some of the later fights a lot more than I would have liked. Also, the big text box at the top of the screen can be annoying in combat, hopefully they fix it at some point. It's kind of necessary in handheld mode, but it looks so garish when you're playing it on the TV.

For $15 it's a great game and this is the only conversion that lets you play with a controller and that natively supports widescreen, at the moment. It's almost a direct port of the android version, just without any graphical options. If you've never played it, this is probably the best way to experience it right now short of modding the PC version up, but it's a little bit rough around the edges. If you like Star Wars or just like Bioware games, I'd say it's worth the sale price.

Edit: Just grabbed it to check because I hadn't tried before, but it doesn't seem to support touchscreen control on the Switch. Not sure if that would be a dealbreaker for anyone because of disabilities or anything, but just thought I'd add that bit in. Going to have to use the thumbsticks on the Switch.

I bought this when it came out, I thought $15 was a steal to get this on my Switch even though it's about $2 on any other platform. Having a blast replaying it. One of the best games ever made. I was NOT a Star Wars fan in 2003, and only a casual fan of the movies now, you can go into this with no knowledge of Star Wars at all.

Any reason to get this deal on Switch instead of Xbox Series X for $10?

Xbox Series X will render it at 4K in a 4:3 aspect ratio at nearly 60 FPS all the time. If you're only planning to play it docked on the Switch, the Series X emulation is a lot sharper than the Switch on a 4K screen, but it doesn't support widescreen so you'll have black bars on both sides of the screen.

I'd say it's up to your preference. The normal Switch benefit of being portable plus native widescreen support are it's main selling points. The Xbox SX renders at a higher resolution with a more stable frame rate, but doesn't support widescreen and likely never will, but who can ever say for sure.

Has anyone played the Naruto trilogy and the storm 4? Are the stories in Storm 1-4 repeatedly? If not what part in the manga/anime are they about. I do care about the story and because I never finish the anime should I get the storm 4 or this triology?
