For those of you wondering, THIS IS NOT THE SNYDERCUT AKA ZACK SNYDERS JUSTICE LEAGUE!! This is BatmanVSuperman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition, the same film that was released in July 2016 on Blu-ray with an extended run time of half an hour. THE DIFFERENCE between this new version and the 2016 ultimate edition is, WB allowed SNYDER to color correct majority of the movie, and put the IMAX shot scenes into a 4:3 aspect ratio (like the SnyderCut was filmed in) to give a bigger picture and make it feel more like IMAX. This is the 2016 theatrical release, with an extended run time of half an hour, which ties up the story in an amazing way, and gets rid of plotholes. Imo this movie is brilliant and I loved every second of it. BatFleck was a perfect Batman, Cavill IS Superman and Gadot was a good Wonder Woman. Eisenberg was a well casted, young lex as well. I definitely recommend this version. I'd also recommend buying ZACK SNYDERS JUSTICE LEAGUE too, if you haven't seen it! It's an amazing comicbook movie! #RestoreTheSnyderVerse

I don't know why this movie got bashed, I really liked it. I thought Cavill was an excellent Superman so I don't know why they aren't making more movies with him in them (as far as I know). I thought Jesse Eisenberg was going to be a terrible Lex Luther but he wasn't bad in it. Michael Rosenbaum is still the best Lex though.

Oh I see. The blue ray disc with extra content Is not included. So this is just the theatrical 4k + digital?

This is the Snyder extended cut of Batman Superman Dawn of Justice (previously released as an Ultimate Edition), BUT the video is completely remastered and with corrected coloring from errors in the original release (and better matches the Justice League Snyder cut coloring), and some of the big action scenes (about 30 minutes) are now in IMAX ratio. That's it really. New 30-second video introduction by Snyder, as well as newly recorded audio commentary.
  • Same extended cut (no completely new footage) as previous ultimate edition.
  • Same audio as previous 4K extended edition.
  • Same digital copy as previous extended 4K edition (aka. the remaster and IMAX features are not in any digital copies).
  • No regular blu-ray disc included here - only the 4K disc.
  • Blu-ray disc of extras/ featurettes available on the original Ultimate set are NOT included here.

Really this is just for serious fans and completists (hold on to that original!) IMO, unless you never saw it and in that case, this is the best and most complete version according to the director.

Everytime I try to watch this crap I fall asleep so I stopped watching. This was by far the worst Superman/Batman movie and this is my personal opinion. Feel free to disagree with me.
