These expired pretty fast the last two times I bought them. And tasted off towards the expiration date. Kind of a Buyer beware. A great deal if you have family that will take them for lunch though.

This is true. Last time It was on sale at Amazon the expiration date was 1 month away. I think they are on sale for a reason to clean out the old stock.

I saw this, too. It's a good price and around the same price as the bigger bags on sale locally, but if this is always the price and the bags are close to expiration it seems like this deal is a bit less tempting.

I always push it back and use 6 months, so maybe that's why I don't get 15%.

Thanks for the reply and screenshot. Mine looks almost the same except instead of saying "First delivery on January 21", it says "Get it Friday, January 14"
I have tried adding five different subscribe and save items in the past, but it seems like it will only apply to future shipments and not the initial shipment.

Knock on wood, I must have gotten lucky. I have had perishables from Amazon be close to the expiration. I chat with customer service, they refund my money and I keep the item. I'm not sure where to draw the line but a 40 pack should be good for 20 days minimum or I'd complain.
