Your point #2 and 4 are not valid since both of these products are from Phillips, and if you compare the specs..they are exactly same except for hue integration
Please do some research on Philips Hue vs Philips Wiz and you will understand how different they are… HUE product line is not gonna vanish over night, however WIZ … no comments Smilie

Lastly you get what you pay for, although the products are from same company the support ecosystem is completely different and one that you cannot compare. As a matter of fact Wiz denied one of my warranty claim whereas with HUE till date I have never seen a single push back

I love Hue and the color changing is cool for these but not sure how much I'd use it for overhead lights. I have some light strips and regular bulbs, but this would cost me a ton to change the dozens of recessed lights in my house!

I installed Lutron Caseta dimmer switches all over my house instead and they're awesome! They work without wireless and I have them all synced up to routines with the rest of my smart home.
routines in what app/system?

Just installed mine yesterday. Anyone have an idea to why one of my lights seems to lag compared to the others? For example when I say "Alexa turn kitchen lights blue" all of them turn blue except for one. Then 5 seconds later it changes

I often have issues with my "smart" lights..... including Hues. Sometimes only some of them respond to commands (like turn off or on). I don't know why... maybe bugs... maybe wireless interference. This "smart" stuff is great when it works, but there are still a lot of kinks to work out in much of it. That's my spiel.

Can someone explain to me why it says that you can "Control up to 10 Lights with Bluetooth App." My kitchen/family room has 14 cans, does this mean that I'm out of luck?

Thanks for any insight!
