I have this monitor. Overall, I like it. However, I do notice the pixels at this size and resolution.

I've been looking for another 27" for my home setup, but not for gaming. Saw the deal on the curved Acer at $149 and it got me looking again. My current 2nd monitor has seen better days, is only 24" and not as bright, so this one really stood out to me.

What would it be for? I think you can find cheaper if you are fine with a lower refresh rate.

How does this compare to the ASUS VG279Q 27"? I need a replacement kids monitor...looking for good quality for moderate gaming and YouTube, but don't want to spend a lot.

That is my worry coming from a 2k resolution and not being able to afford an IPS in the same res.

Was just happening to look at monitors last night on the Acer site and pulled the trigger on this. I plan on hooking it up with an old Xbox 360. I mainly needed a speaker with built-in speakers (no matter how crappy they sound), so this fit the bill. Everything else is icing if I ever use it for my main PC setup.

If this was 2k or 4k.... But just don't like 1080p 27inch for gaming.

Just wait for other people to show up and tell you all the problems about your monitor because they think they know anything lol

I like my 32" curved one quite a bit. $50 more MSRP for HDR and double the frames isn't bad although it's smaller. This sale makes it great

There are monitors like this available, just won't be in this price range. Gotta go up to 275+ for a fast gaming monitor in 2k

Does anyone know if this model is compatible with g-sync? I can't really find any reviews for this specific monitor model.

Suggestion: If you have a microcenter, go to one of them and look at monitors. They have probably 30-40 options on the floor. Skip BestBuy as everything is out of stock (or was earlier), and they don't have many out to look at. Learn about what's important and not important and balance against your usage (work vs. gaming vs. graphic/video editing). I'd say they make some beautiful 32" bright decent response time IPS monitors these days for work. Microcenter will do a pricematch on most online prices (they won't likely pricematch a Samsung edu discount). Ask them to do the search, they will tell you what they find. CONS to Microcenter: They work on commission. You decide what you like, don't let them sell you on what they have in stock to simply make a sale.

What is the overall height on the desk? (Bottom of the stand to the top end.)

Is the height adjustable? Speakers good enough for online conferencing or simple video watching (not to enjoy the sound, but loud enough to hear properly)?

Thanks.
