Depends what your needs are…

Need a dedicated gpu or not? Screen size? Resolution? Battery life? Portability? Price?

These are powerful do everything (except video chat 😂) little computers.

Any hypothesis on when the 2022 model will release and it's pricing? On the fence on this.

Official release date is April but that may get delayed due to supply issues. As per Asus, price will be similar to the 2021 model's release price for 144Hz panel, $1500 to $1600 mark.

I know Zephyrus is popular, but i just don't like a RTX 3060 with max 80W TGP, kind of compromised...

2022 model is 16:10 and 3070 level performance plus a complete redesign, so this model really needs to drop in price now.

Wouldn't touch this when 2022's are a few months away.
This price is too high for last year's model.

Great price yes, but with what they've announced at CES this year, my guess this will become the regular price now.

2022 version looks light year better. they also will be doing vapor chamber for cpu and gpu making it run quieter and cooler plus feeding more watts into it. 16:10 screen is a must. i rather pay 200-300 more on a deal for the 2022 version.

Yes at this point if you are self employed it is too late to get the tax credit for 2021 —and that was one of the most compelling reasons to pull the trigger in December. So unless your laptop is dead it probably is worth waiting. True the new ones will be more expensive but the price on this one will likely drop even further. once the new model comes out.

A better version of this was listed at $1199 a few weeks ago.

I agree, you don't often get such a huge improvement in one model year. Don't buy this one unless it's closer to $1000.

I picked up the M16 with the 3060, QHD, 1 TB storage and an i9 for 1407 open box at best buy. the 16x10 is excellent for a more productive gamer.
