For me, ,coupon is not even showing up on the app
Nah they are TP-Link & Philips Hue(non hub) all $3-$11 but thankfully this deal's coupon isn't there for me to grab another.
The KL125 only has a temperature range of 2500 to 6500 whereas the KL130 shown here boasts a range of 2500 to 9000 and is a bit brighter.

For my money, Costco's deals on Feit bulbs are the only reason my stuff is unified. Im down to just tplink for outlets and switches and feit for bulbs
Ok.. then I'll move the switch.. since it's only there to turn on and off the porch light at sunrise and sunset.. I should be able to do that with the bulb.. Plus I'll have the added benefit of color.. It also free up a switch to use somewhere else..
Thanks for the comment!!

If it's a WiFi switch, then as @nec89 indicates, it may not be necessary.
If the switch isn't using wifi, (RF, zigbee, etc), it still could be beneficial.
Perusing comments in this thread, folks have issues requiring a device reboot.
A switch could prove useful in those situations.
I use an RF switch, tied to an RMPro+ hub, and Hubitat.
This controls the lamp outlet with the Kasa bulb set at specific settings.
Hubitat is set for Kasa devices to run locally.
I run other zigbee based bulbs (urlhasbeenblocked).
Those are local control too and don't rely on a wifi connection.
In the end, it's your setup to do what works best for you.

I use Wemo wifi switches.. I also use a SmartThings hub..
The KL130 is 850 lumens and would be a tiny bit better. I'm waiting for the 1000 lumen KL135 to go on sale.

They work outside as long as they are protected, like with any light bulb. I have 3 outside for over 2 years now without a problem.
