These are hand sanitizing wipes, so it stands to reason that they aren't going to clean as well as textured surface disinfecting wipes that are generally much more saturated. But these wipes use alcohol, and so are safer for a lot more surfaces than cleaning wipes which are based on ammonium chloride. For example, I can use these on electronic devices including screens, food contact surfaces including the inside of a waffle maker, and even on kids when they spill sticky things on themselves in the car. You can't use regular cleaning wipes on your kids. So yes, these don't clean as well, but you can use them in a lot more situations.

Agreed, you are comparing 2 different types of products. These are designed for hand cleaning/sanitizing. Not surfaces. You can use on small surfaces such as cell phones. And, Hey people, they smell like alcohol because it is pure alcohol. Sheesh

They were giving out literal boxes of the lysol hand sanitizing wipes for free at a meals on wheels thrift shop near me a couple of weeks back. A box of 6 packs of 80. A few weeks later they gave out cases of Clorox sanitizing bleach (can't be used for clothes, but can be used for basically everything else bleach is used for, apparently). Seems like retailers can't get rid of hand soap, hand sanitizers, and disinfectants fast enough in my area, so are donating them to thrift shops and other nonprofits taking donations. Heck large bottles of hand soap and sanitizer were going for 29 cents a piece at my local cvs.

I bought a box of these couple months ago. I have gone through about 6 bags so far and I am contemplating buying another box to last another year because of house useful they are. They
re great to quickly clean items you use every day but I actually use them to clean my cannabis smoking tools too...

Don't get the complaints. Smell dissipates quick and with so many it's not a big deal to use a couple at a time. Much prefer over hand sanitizer gel this works and dries quicker. Like others said better to wipe things down over the Lysol or Clorox with no residue. Also use them for cleaning other things that normally need small alcohol pads.

I use these to give a quick but thorough wipe to my toddler's potty seats and the actual seats underneath it couple of times a day. Kids can be messy and I don't have the time to do a spray-soak-scrub-rinse routine for multiple bathrooms daily. Given there are no extra chemicals and fragrances in it unlike clorox and lysol wipes, I'm ok to let it be used on surfaces where skin contact happens. The wiping is 'something is better than nothing' situation. It gives me some peace of mind in between thorough bathroom cleaning.

It smells like tequila? Or your tequila smells like rubbing alcohol? Reports say this smells bad. I know since covid I think they add filler to alcohol and it smells like a weird peanut butter

Huge warning, if you use these on touchscreens it'll eat away the oleophobic coating very quickly. Trust me, you don't want that - unless you like looking at fingerprints.
