Horrible performance on the switch. Gotta sit through a load screen every time you walk into a different room or area and the load times are long, and the framerate is poor, which is weird because this is mostly a 2D game. The pathing in this game is bad. It's hard to know where you can make your character walk to and you hit dead ends. And the game is just flat out boring as it's nothing but listening to (or reading) dialogue. I felt like I had to go over all dialogue options with all the NPC's so I wouldn't potentially miss anything important. But you can spend 15 minutes talking about inconsequential bs with an unimportant NPC. I really wish I could have returned this game.

I just played through this on Xbox. God it's a great game. Make no mistake, it's primarily an old school point and click adventure, but if you have the attention span for that kind of game you will love this beautifully drawn, written, and acted masterpiece.

I've read comments that there are some longer load times and some folks didn't like the controls on switch. PC seems to be recommended but the switch version is playable and enjoyable if you prefer that platform.

Great game if you're the type of person that enjoys table top games or role play games. It's certainly not for everyone, but I love it.

What I do agree though is the poor performance on Switch. Better of get it from Steam.

The controls are just fine on console. After all, it's point and click. You never need to quickly click anything in this game. The real issue is that the Switch version has horrible performance.

What I appreciated about AquaCrayon3655's comment is that it spoke to how well the game runs on Switch. I look forward to playing it on Steam Deck which (fingers crossed) will turn out to be an awesome portable gaming PC.
