Lowes Huntington Beach (CA) had a couple of these Aircare Console Humidifier boxes for $47.50, was $190. It was on the same pallet as the 16" Utilitech stand fans for $7.49 and the $12.49 Vornado fans.

If I had to guess it's the more southern store clearing these out. Up here in the north where this item is more in season I doubt to find one on sale.

Never needed a humidifier in New Mexico more than I need one now lol. Air gets extremely dry here.
