I have the bike, it's magnetic resistance. For the price, I am happy with the purchase. I almost got the Schwin IC4, but this feels like a steal compared to paying $800. This bike doesn't have a cadence sensor, but you can get a wahoo for $40.
also pooboo sells direct on amazon but they don't bother with this model
