Bought the frozen coding for $6. My kid only used it three times and now it's collecting dust. I don't think anyone would buy this for $80, not even for $20.

I bought the Kano Frozen kit for Christmas. The link for the program is no longer valid. I spent about 30 minutes trying to track it down with no luck. My kids moved on real quickly, but I would suggest double checking that the necessary software is still supported through Kano's website.

Think the mrs bought this at full price 2 years ago. Kids used it once or twice only. Think she got this thinking they would learn on their own or something. There's a learning curve and kids just wasn't into it

Kano is a good concept but kids some how don't use it much.

My 7 yo daughter loves Snap Circuits and I also bought some breadboards and RaspPi kits which are a lot more fun. She prefers the real world DIY experiments to the Kano canned experience.

Kano's Frozen Coding kit software is definitely available for windows. I think it also available for iOS. Only Android and MacOSX I think are not supported. I was able to get it working on windows 10 in couple of minutes. Download the app and turn on the device and it's connected via Bluetooth.

We also have the frozen kit. It was so buggy that it was unusable.

Is the Kano Frozen basically useless now since the link doesn't work?

I would second snap circuits. My son also has one. They can be fun. You wire up different test circuits that do various things.
