Is there a way to unlock it without waiting 60 days?
NYTurbo sim or Rsim
See nyturbo.com and search eBay for NYTurbo.
You'll need an unlocked iPhone to update the latest ICCID.

still in stock
either people are not interested this time or TW got a huge stock to dump ahead of the SE3
I'm thinking that there were probably a bunch of users upgrading to newer phones around the holidays and they're just getting those trade-ins turned around.

I placed the order about 9am PT, and received confirmation in email, yet I still don't receive any shipping notice. How soon usually do they ship?

My guess.. you need 60 days of active service. It's just 20-25 for 2nd month. Why risk it??
I would suspect the same thing. But as others has mentioned, there will be no definite answer until later when others start weighing in from the last deal. Luckily, that should be in a couple of weeks, so we should have a fairly certain answer before we finish the 30 days of service for this offer.

active service is clearly distinguished between two cases:

TracFone will automatically unlock the device when it becomes eligible for unlocking.
For all Apple devices activated with TracFone prior to November 23, 2021, the device will be automatically unlocked after 12 months of active TracFone service.
For Apple devices activated with new TracFone service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the device will be automatically unlocked 60 days after activation in the absence of an indication of fraud.
What's not clear is "new service".
Is activating refurb phone using a current number considered new or does it have to be a totally new line with new number? In past refurbs were considered new when newly activated on the acct - but my XR from this deal shows BYOP sim icon not a smartphone icon, making me question if it will even unlock.

That's a freaking awesome deal.

I'd rather have got the XR than the SE 2nd gen cause of screen size and battery life!

Use someone's code to set up acct, and ask the person to buy $25 plan for your month #2, you end up saving 25, and the person gets 12k minus 2500 points, it is win win

Noticed out of two orders one was for SE2, must have made a mistake. Chatted right after, the support told me no way to cancel it. The only option for a full refund is to refuse it or return it, but there is no refund for the plan if RMA'd. I don't intend to keep the phones. Bought them strictly for trade-in purposes. You never know how much SE2 can get in the future. Sometimes trade-in amounts are weirds and make zero sense. Have no choice but to move on since I live in the apartment complex and refusing orders is very difficult through our reception system. Good luck, everyone!

This is a great deal to get free iPhone 13 from many major carriers like AT&T, Tmobile if you plan on stayingwith them for long time (well except for the cost of this XR) you'll get $800 credit after trade in.

I got a refurb from totalwireless once and it was bad... If I had to grade it myself it would have to be a C.

The side aluminum frame was all scratched up and the battery health was 85%. Def. was not worth it...

Might be worth the risk for some, but personally I'd get a refurb of a newer phone or a new older model phone than this.
I just got one last month and looks brand new.

I vaguely remember being able to refuse delivery by calling UPS or using UPS Choice (UPS was the carrier they used for my delivery). YMMV.

Anyone know if I could trade this in locked to T-Mo to leverage their trade in deals?

I just chat with them, for unlocking the device must be active on a "paid plan" for 60 days; not just active.

Reps are clueless, take it with a grain of salt. They copied Verizon's policy (now that Verizon owns them) and that does not require 60 days of active service.

So, you are saying no need to have active service for the 2nd month and the device will get automatically unlock after 60 days?
