Great deal if Google Fi works for you and plan on keeping the connection for 4 months.

This would be have been an even better deal if Google Fi supported esim on these Samsung phones, but as far as I can tell it is not yet supported.

Nope wont work.

If the sim isnt in the s21, you dont get credit. They changed it to be active, meaning, you are actually using the account

You will instead lose the $400 savings and be charged that at 4 months. You will need to use fi for the 4 months.

I don't think any MVNO has esim support. Blame the 'big three'

Yeah, the major providers do. Google Fi doesn't.

I don't know if Big 3 has anything to do with Google Fi not supporting esim on Samsung S21. Google Fi does support esim on Pixels (and maybe also on iphones). I think it is because S21 gained esim functionality very recently (a month or two ago?); but I maybe wrong.

As for other MVNOs, Mint Sim and US Mobile support esims on iphone and pixels. Again, neither of them support S21 (yet)

Can someone help me with this? Does this work?
- Buy a (verizon) Port-in number on ebay for $20
- Buy the S21 for $400 and use that Port-In number to port to Fi.
- Activate the Phone with the fi sim and keep it a day and remove the fi sim
- Use my other working AT&T Pre-paid sim in S21 and use it
- Keep the Fi account active for 120 days (4 months)
Total Cost: 400 + 20 (Port-in) + 80 (4 months fi) : $500 for Unlocked Galaxy S21

Did a similar deal for S20 last year, have to keep the device on their network to meet the terms. There has been a few deals on S21 lately that were more attractive, unless you're on FI anyways.
