I literally looked at these exact two items in store yesterday. The battery kit alone are $299, and the brushless 6 1/2" circular saw is $179. I would post both links but can't.
So, with the fact that I can get both of these for $199, and not have to pay $498 is a heck of a deal for some people like myself. I'll, wait the 1-2 months if I save $298+.
Thanks OP and great deal.

There is a deal on the multi tool for 99.00 with charger and battery right now as well.
A 5Ah Li-ion, $160. 2-3Ah, $100.
Also 1.3Ah, 2Ah, 4Ah, 6Ah.
All are 20V ( MAX ).
Stop buying tools? No one needs that kind of negative talk in their life.
Well, I just came from Lowe's yesterday looking for some new tools. As a new house owner, I'm looking to do some work around the house myself.

I agree with you. CCC shows it been this price since since Nov. 5th.
On the flip side I did a quick search here and didn't see this posted previously. If it's hackable it's a decent deal.
Personally I'm looking for deals with 5ah+ 20v (I don't get the point of the 2ah battery) and tool wise only XR. So this checked my boxes. Not sure if I will pull the trigger on the combo or go after keeping one or the other.
if you want the oscillating tool [on my wish list, easy to find for 99 w battery around the holidays] or the saw its a solid deal. the other stuff? maybe not as great a deal.
i have the saw, its decent - handles 2x4s, light metal, and plywood ok. not great, but ok for light handy work.

Can i cancel the batteries to hack it or do I need to wait to get both and return the batteries?

2ah is great for their heated clothing.

I will be trying it with the 3/8" and 1/2" impacts.
