I'm a bit of a fitness buff, so a word of warning- ProForm as a rule sells low-end equipment. If you're looking for something to get by with 1-2 times a week use (or something to hang your clothes on LOL) it will be fine, but expect creeks, squeaks, and shoddy construction. If you can get into ProForm's PRO line the construction is a lot better and the equipment will last a lot longer.

These are great prices, but don't want people to get something and be disappointed about having to repair/replace things after a year or two of use.
Yeah, Proform fell into the same trap as everyone else- they started focusing on the electronics of their products instead of the mechanics. In '99 they were still focusing on motors, belts, durability, etc. In 2022 they have to focus on screens, sensors, Bluetooth, and whatever else today's generation expects. They would have to essentially double the price if they added all of this AND kept up the quality of mechanical components (which is what they did on their Pro line). Instead they lowered the quality of the plastics, motors, belts, etc so they could stay in the same price range.
I'm an old school ProForm user. I have a ProForm treadmill in my basement I've had since 1999. That's right, 1999 lol. I run on it regularly and have been doing so since I got it. Still on the original belt, original motor, original deck. The only thing wrong is the "beep" sound it should make when you power it up or down recently stopped working. It is loud these days but it's nearly 23 years old. Perhaps they made better quality equipment back then but I've been very happy with mine

This or the NordicTrack T 6.5 S Treadmill for $550?

Preform has more tech and better screen, but how performance between the two?
I purchased the Nordictrack before and it works like a champ. It's nice and sturdy as well.

Nordictrack has a slightly more powerful motor - 2.6 vs proform 2.5

Nordictrack has a wider belt which was a big thing for me. 22x55 vs proform 18x50

Nordictrack has the grip heart rate monitor and proform does not

WOW! That is so small... you'd have to be max 5'5" to use this? Dang.

Nordic if you want support. Pro-form completely abandoned me after my treadmill failed. Terrible support

edit: nm. I thought horizonfitness made pro-form. they do not, best I can tell. sorry about that

Been using weslo cadence g 5.9i treadmill since December of 2019. Noticed recently the belt started squeaking once I start using it and powered on but goes away within several minutes of use. I haven't oiled the tread belt at all since buying it because I haven't noticed any friction or stalling at all yet. Is this a sign of needing oiling, wear and tear, maybe other issue? Btw I never run on it, just walking 3-4 mph for like 45 mins to an hour, so not intensive at all. Very basic budget treadmill but for $260 that not unexpected

Any able to guess the comparable Proform model at another retailer? This looks like maybe Lowes specific model number
My guess based upon branding, features, and visual check was Amazon's listing for the under ASIN B09LBYS6V4 for the Carbon T7. That puts the discount at around $200 but sacrifices a smaller running surface (18" wide for this deal, 20" wide for the Carbon T7) and a different motor. This suggests that the Lowe's MSRP was never meaningful, but that for the right walker/jogger this is a competent machine with some opportunity for savings.

unfortunately not the actually very capable T7 that has the 22x50 and 2.6HP motor. https://www.proform.com/treadmills/carbon-t7
I think you may have the running surface size wrong (see photo). The motor is different, and possibly a better unit in the model not customized for Lowe's, but I don't know that this is going to be as significant a difference as when comparing this treadmill to models with motors over 3hp(?).

Good luck!

This could also describe almost every automaker over the same time period.
The first analogy that came to mind when comparing the ProForm and NordicTrack models noted earlier was indeed an automotive one (where some manufacturers innovate less, but get by on brand reputation - deserved or not - whereas others focus on bells and whistles). The only complication is that treadmills, even more so than among many automakers, can vary along product lines even more so than between brands.

Good luck!

Treadmill shipping package dimensions per Lowe's Q&A section: 13" x 30" x 72"

The same Q&A also stated the weight at 162 pounds.

Good luck!

Do the 30 day iFit subscriptions stack with each other (or in my case, stack with the 1 year subscription that came with my Tour De France from Costco) or are they the old "new subscriber only" ones?

I happen to own a spacesaver foldable proform treadmill that I bought in the early 90s that I still use. the only problem I had with it was the battery holder wore out, but I am able to plug it in instead, so not really an issue. Maybe I'm one of the lucky one's! Was looking at this as a replacement...

Is it just me, or are pictures 1-2 a different product from pictures 3-6? Pictures 3-6 appear to have a much bigger screen? Which one are we actualling getting?
