You specifically have to find one in store. They basically missed them on clearance and the number has been moved to some legacy system.

I found one myself and the price is the "minimum system price" or something like that. I was super excited because I had pulled the trigger on an "ok" price for the new 36V tool system which averaged out nicely.

These are for 36v tools only. Even though official metabo Hpt account saying these work for 18v tools on the products Q&A page. I tried and they don't fit. Now I'm sad 😔

Wow thanks for the info. Only reason I contemplated buying it is because I was able to get the 18v tool clearance deal.

Local stores have it. Guy above is absolutely correct, it will supply 36v only and is for their new pro 36v tools, like dual volt circular saws and hummer drills.

Checked local Lowes yesterday and they moved these to clearance shelf, there are like 5 available. I checked it and didn't buy - even for $42 it so too expensive. Very heavy bulky brick. Can work for a contractor but can't see any use for a homeowner
