Sadly, no. This is for the monthly plan and is billed monthly at the discounted rate.

I'm sure you can as long as you use a different email address.

Not that I can know of. Just cancel it before it ends and it may trigger other offers

Been reading some commentary on this. It's apparently handled pretty much the best of any paid service with ads. HBO originals don't have ads during them at all. The total percentage runtime of stuff with ads is lower than even totally free services with ads like Tubi. Fewer interruptions during shows that have them. They're still ads, but less annoying than most services for sure.

It should be this price regularly, as the service (from my experience) is frequently down or takes multiple tries to log into. It definitely is no Netflix in terms of availability.
Wait for it down to $2 monthly. With all these streaming services, the price total is about cable price.
You have to watch ads. so what is the point of paying that much?
HBO Max[hbomax.com] has 20% off per month for up to 12 months of either HBO Max Plan.
With Ads - $7.99/month for up to 12 months
Ad-Free - $11.99/month for up to 12 months
Offer ends January 25.
Just to note for those that have AT&T fiber for ISP that the gigabit plan includes HBO Max for free. I have no idea if this is targeted by area but can confirm that this is offered in the downtown Fort Worth, TX area. I also think this will likely go away once AT&T divests the abominations known as DirecTV and WarnerMedia.

This is true but it was only free for one year for me.
I had this service for a few months and found it lacking content. Yes, there's some recent movies out now but I'll wait until there's a significant backlog of shows/movies I can watch readily. Having to pay a monthly fee to watch something new every 2-3 months wasn't worth it
