"The most magical thing just happened guys. Today I woke up to a "No SIM Restriction" on a Verizon iPhone 13. So they do definitely unlock it automatically on the 60th day. I still have the Verizon line but it's in a "voluntary suspended )$10 a month)" status because I wanted to make sure it would unlock and I still had a line (I don't think keeping a line is necessary btw, I was just being extra cautious). All good. Everything turned out ok to my surprise!"
SIM options
Tracfone: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
Total Wireless: Verizon
Simple Mobile: T-Mobile
Net10: ATT(now removed), T-Mo, Verizon
Pageplus: Verizon
Walmart Family Mobile: T-Mo
Straight Talk: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
I've been doing this a while and know the ins and outs of TFW. Verizon may or may not force all brands to their network at some point. They also may consolidate the brands, but that's the rundown.

If you read the unlocking policy you can see that no "continuous service" is required for the phone to unlock
Which (or what is) RSIM?
Do I need 60 days service to unlock?
How do I know if I have the fake parts?
After 1/23 everything will (hopefully) become clear.

The rsim is another option, but the soft unlock resets when you upgrade iOS
In my case I have iphone 12 active and upgraded to iPhone 13(received it but haven't activated it yet). I am hoping to send in TW XR (instead of iphone 12).
Will it be a smooth process to get the unlocking as we have paid the full phone price?
I think also refurbished iPhone XR from TW is costing around 132$ including tax can be used as well for 390$ trade in credit at Best Buy than this iphone11 costing around 275$ including tax for 500$ trade in credit.

I guess it's not my lucky day.

Now should I get an 11 for backup and future TIV is the tougher question lol

I was of the understanding that the RSIM unlock survives the iOS upgrade
what it does not survive is a factory reset
stalwarts, pls advise
