"The most magical thing just happened guys. Today I woke up to a "No SIM Restriction" on a Verizon iPhone 13. So they do definitely unlock it automatically on the 60th day. I still have the Verizon line but it's in a "voluntary suspended )$10 a month)" status because I wanted to make sure it would unlock and I still had a line (I don't think keeping a line is necessary btw, I was just being extra cautious). All good. Everything turned out ok to my surprise!"

seems like in the comment that you quoted above, they are quoting prior thread where they read that 2nd month purchase was not reqd
no where do I see in comment 472 that their XR unlocked
but I do agree with you that that is what the current policy read, hence that is what it should be
but I want to see it to believe it
they have hardly canceled any orders this season
same happened to me last time, and I tried in 15 mins, got a new code that worked
IME, refurb iPhones from Indiana are older compared to ones from TN
this doesn't matter to this deal as it is for a new 11, but for refurbs

Also guys, if I'd want to get an iphone 13 with T-Mobile using a credit, been myself with another carrier at the moment ( another iphone 11) what's the best deal out there?

I was able to submit a successful unlock request in early December 2021 (December 2nd I believe) for my SE 2020 to that was activated after Christmas 2020. It is worth a try. Make sure the device is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi if the request is granted. Took a day or two but it finally updated to No SIM restrictions.
Don't take the word of these clueless first level Total Wireless reps.
