You're clearly devoid of a brain. Everything is a "Chinese product," take off your tinfoil hat.

I had a guy gave me a warning when I posted a deal. The guy didnt even do his research. I told him it's not self promoting. It's a well known site. The guy never heard of it.

I currently have laview cameras, not this particular one, but ones with dedicated controller and hard drives. While the camera works fine, i have plenty issues with the software. Especially the alerts, it has stopped working completely after about 2 years, and i no longer get anymore alerts. Calling support is not much help, and it always end up with, my warranty has ended.

The site reviews are paid ones... Stay away from Chinese products if feasible.

They send money to you to buy product and post reviews. This circumvents any Amazon security check as long as free product is not returned

I have 4 (only using 1 at the moment) with blueiris and they've been bulletproof.

I had to dump the NVR and shitty software years ago.

I mean that's literally how Slickdeals makes their money. They get a cut of sales and incentives to push stuff to the front page.

They also employ around 250 people.

Yea of course they need to make money somehow. At least they aren't like FatKidDeals on twitter. That guy tweets tons of garbage. Wow didnt know SD got 250 workers. Why so many ppl for a website? Usually these deal sites got a few workers.

I have heard about it for many years, but is this something I can get to work on qnap servers? I do not want to build a dedicated machine just to host blue iris
