Great deal, one of the best bang for your buck and fantastic entry level for a new lego builder. Recommended for all who haven't had a chance to pick this up. Has been this price for a while but all in all, well worth it

Is this a good deal? This seems to be a frequent price for this same model.

Agreed. $40 is pretty standard for this model, but it's worth every penny. Cheapest piece to price ratio Lego out there.

This is the standard price everywhere for this model. I just checked a few Walmarts and they have this in stock for this same price.

You are misleading.
Its $50 normally. It's $50 at lego.com and target. $40 is a common sale price.

"$40 is a common sale price for this lego model". Is that better, I don't want to "mislead" people.

I can personally validate it his been at this same price since August of 2021 (Walmart) because it was the first lego set I bought and have been hooked since with my son.

I wish my son was a bit older. He loves Speed Champions, but he's 5 and I'd end up building this by myself.

I was in the same situation you were when someone bought my son builds a little bit above his age. I just worked with him on them & in no time, he got better. He's 10 now and routinely works on the adult builds and enjoys them. I'm his official "parts-getter" for each step 🤣

Its all about doing it together with my son.
