These general purpose disposable N95 respirators are used where there is high risk of exposure to airborne particles, including woodworking, demolition, and food manufacturing. N95 respirators filter at least 95% of airborne particles. They are not oil-resistant.

These are crap. I bought a box, and every single one has had straps come loose from the weld point. I have even been very careful with them now that each one has broke. Some will allow 1 use, none have made it through multiple uses. I have an old box of n95 with the yellow rubber bands stapled and they are much more robust.
These masks are awful. They don't have nose foam or metal clip so there are gaps that make them terrible for glasses. They're really stiff too so you can't get a good seal.
All you need to do is staple the strap on at all four weld point. Will not come off no matter how you stretch it (within reason). That's what I do to all my masks I wear.

recent and older reviews say these are fake, including someone that claims to have confirmed with 3M.
It might be a YMMV situation, and each shipment may or may not be genuine. I've had good luck with the 2 other orders I've made online. At worst, if it's fake, I'll ask for a refund. Amazon's been good about that with me.

Sorry, I won't buy masks "made in China" -- I only buy those made in Cambodia or made in Uzbekistan.

FYI, this review is of the DF300, not the one from this deal (DC300).

Grainger is a Fortune 500 company, for those saying these are fakes. My company buys a ton from Grainger, they are one of the largest industrial supply MMRO companies around. No way they'd sell fakes.

If you staple the straps, you create holes where airborne particles can enter. That defeats the purpose of the mask. You need to cover the staple holes with glue or tape.

Unfortunately, there is no Grainger near me and the shipping charge is $11 which seems excessive. Oh well, thanks anyway OP!

I've never had any luck with molded masks ... not sure who's face they used for the mold, but only probably fits about 1% of the population.

Honeywell masks are actually assembled (not made) in Rhode Island. From April 2020 to November 2020, they had a massive amount of advertisements hiring for mask assemblers and were paying $17/hr+. The materials likely come from Mexico but they're pretty much an american company.

I purchased the same Farberware pot from Walmart and use it solely for cleaning my N95s.
In 2020 the government of Taiwan was recommending rice cookers (with no water - obviously) to sterilize masks. 4-5 minutes was enough I think.
They eat a lot of rice. Every household probably has a rice cooker. Not sure if they are still handing masks out. They were giving everyone a weeks worth of the
cheap masks every week. Most people there wear the cheap ones.

Personally, I buy South Korean KF-94s.

I don't know why someone would downvote this. 165 degrees and up should do it. WHO last year was saying 130-135 was good enough.

What I've done is in the car, I stick masks in a freezer bag and stick them up on the panel that is under the glass sun roof. Got to be careful you don't slide that panel back so far the bag goes back with it. Also the base of the windshield can get very, very, very hot.
