I bought one of these for my wife for Christmas. We've had limited, street only, experience riding the bike and, so far, are pleased with it. I have a couple of non-electric mountain bikes that are two or three times more expensive than this bike. Sure, they are clearly better quality than this. However, for the price, these bikes are a very good value.

If you're looking for a serious mountain bike, then look elsewhere. If you're wanting a good value mountain bike or cruiser with decent hardware, speed, and range, then quit looking because this is the bike for you.

These are excellent deals considering that a basic battery alone costs around $200. I've had one the cheapie ebikes ($400 on Amazon) for a number of years and the only thing that it needs now is a new battery. It still runs fine but the distance between charges is getting shorter.

I would also recommend step thru frame (aka "ladies" bike), fenders, and luggage rack.

I got one for Christmas and can definitely say for the price it's worth it. But you get what you pay for. As others suggest it's not for your typical mountain ride. But I didn't expect it to be with the specs you get on this bike. Mostly paved trail or smoother hard pack dirt and it should be able to perform smoothly.
