I only need a sander. I'm thinking to buy this bundle, keep a sander and put everything on Offer Up but doubt it's worth to do that?

yeah the work light is pretty useless. The old one with the flexible tube neck was at least useful for pointing exactly where you need it.

I only really need the sander, so I might not bite on this deal.
But all the stores around Alpharetta, GA show stock at $249

I have both styles of the light and actually use the new style in this kit more often.

This 8-piece one looks good too and you can purchase online and add a couple percent in cashback to the deal. Link [lowes.com]

That's actually not a good deal at all. Those are older brushed tools for double the price for not double the tools.

Lowes has another set that's the multi tool, sander, and jigsaw plus battery and charger for $299 I think. I'd probably recommend that over this, but it'll depend on what you need; I just know that I use the jigsaw quite a bit, and it's normally a $199 bare tool that occasionally goes on sale. Most Dewalt bundles throw in some combination of light, drill, impact so if you buy this and another bundle to supplement tools you'll likely end up with multiples (which honestly isn't terrible for something like a drill, but again depends on use).

I paired my jigsaw/sander/multi Lowes bundle with a drill/impact/light/4.5" circ saw bundle from Farm and Fleet and had all those tools with no duplicates for $450 total. Only thing I then had to buy separately was the router and I "hacked" a HD deal to get that cheaper by returning everything else.

Here is the BS link for the 3 tool set (multi tool, sander and jigsaw).

Looks like the price went down to $279 and plenty of stock!

Yeah that's the one! I'd say the 4ah battery is a step up from 2x 2ah batteries too. A 2ah battery isn't going to get you fat with some of these tools, especially something like the sander. You're going to want more either way, but starting with having something at least as big as the 4ah is preferable IMO.

Just another note, if you get the oscillating multi tool, I'd strongly recommend buying a big pack of cheap boxes from Amazon. I had the ones that came with it, and my first replacements were Dewalt, but then I tried some cheap Amazon ones. They don't last as long as the Dewalt ones, but these blades are really meant to be used and tossed. I probably get 50-60% of the use out of the cheap blades at probably 10% of the cost.

I just picked the Metabo 7 tool pack for 335 from lowes clearance.

I know Dewalt makes best tools, but Metabo kit for the price worth it? Just thinking if I HAVE to be in one line. Metabo if it's worth, I may buy the other tools on one brand, so atleast I end up in two brands. I see OP set available in near by stores
