I need some inspiration. What are people using these for? I already have connected bulbs for any lamps. Using one for a floor fan, but still have several more I can't think of a good use for.
I use mine mainly to control my window ac and small space heater in kids room. Also used it to turn on slow cooker while I was at work so food didn't over cook.

Best usage for me: find a heated mattress pad with a hard power switch. Bam wifi controlled heated bed that you can put on a timer. Or even automate based on outside temp. Wife loves it. We also use them to control power for rarely used home audio amps and lights like Christmas trees.

These do get lower; I purchased my last 4 pack at $20 but I don't have a time machine for you to use
From Amazon? According to CCC, $24 is the lowest these have been on Amazon. These are the newer, small version. I've seen the regular version on sale many times.

May 17 2021 had a 5KASAPLUG promo and a coupon that brought it down to $19.29 pre tax. It was the same EP10P4

Gotcha. Must've been the promo code that CCC didn't track.
On a related note, does anyone know of a SmartThings compatible button? Samsung doesn't sell them anymore and their replacement, Aeotec isn't available with Prime shipping. It seems like it used to be there were many Zigbee or Zwave options and now there are very few and often require their own hub.

These are the best smart plugs I have used so far. The app works really well and is easy to use. I use them to time on and off my indoor christmas lights. Their outdoor plugs works like a dream as well.

SONOFF claims to need a proprietary hub, but works with smart things

1. Buy a temperature sensor.. put it near the fan.. set it for the fan to turn on when the room reaches a certain temperature and turn off when it reaches a certain temperature..
2. Turn your dumb on, off coffee maker into a smart one.
3. Plug your washer or dish washer into it.. buy a leak sensor and put near the washer or dishwasher.. if the leak sensor gets wet.. automatically turn off power to plug.. I did this after both my washer and dishwasher leaked in the same week..
3. Automatic Christmas lights or tree..
4. Add to pool pump.. turn on and off pool pump automatically.. I do this for my above ground pool every year..
If you are really into Home Automation.. you gotta start looking outside of just light bulbs and plugs.. Get a Alexa or Goggle Home.. I got both.. Start buying Door and window sensors.. light switches, instead of bulbs.. Motion and temperature sensors.. Security cameras.. Join Zigbee groups and home automation groups on FB.. watch home automation videos on YouTube.. I did this and I got everything I listed plus more.. Smart vacuum and a smart mop.. all my lights.. cameras, sensors.. fridge left open too long I get a alert.. dog got out.. I can find him.. cat not coming home at night.. I can find him.. your only limited by your imagination.. package at the door.. I get a alert that I have a package..good luck...

I purchased some when they were $20 for four and will purchase more the next time that they reach $20. We control the Keurig, lights, Christmas tree. These work great and the App is wonderful.

Scheduling on and off timing is also a key feature. And synchronize with switches… my room floor lamp can now be triggered on with can lights
