HP always charges your credit card first, way before they ship.
IF HP decides to cancel your order due to "price mistake", they technically cannot do that, b/c they have already charged your card.
Many members are reporting their confirmation email show a much higher price. You should immediately put in credit card dispute. Then file BBB and FTC complaints.
DO NOT BUY ANY HP LAPTOP WITH A LONG SHIP DATE.
THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD TODAY, AND WILL NOT LET YOU CANCEL.
IF YOU RETURN IT, YOU WILL GET HIT WITH 15% RESTOCKING FEE.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

PERKS AT WORK Instructions - Save an additional $100
1. Go to perksatwork.com and sign in
2. Use the search on top to search for HP
3. It should say "HP employee purchase program + x Wowpoints, click shop now
4.Once at HP's website REGISTER FOR HP EPP. DO NOT USE "Already a member"
5. Any email address now will link it together
6. Use the search bar above and paste in "HP Omen 17.3" Laptop (17t-ck000)"
7. Find your laptop, add to cart, then decide if you would like to use links to sweeten the pot.
8.Profit.
Nope, depends if your employer has work discount deals with other companies. One of my old employers had discounts through perksatwork.com, I left them a long time ago but their discounts keep on giving.
This is incredibly false. I'm not a HP employee and I got EPP pricing at 851. To do it however, you need a perksatwork account or something similar which your employer has to be signed up for. Otherwise you can't do it.
Assuming you have a P@W account, you can then get EPP pricing by clicking on the links and creating a HP account. It didn't work in my laptop but did work on my desktop.
Thats how I did it. Also just a FYI, I would also do the 10 dollar NIC upgrade. Its well worth it.
512 GB Intel® SSD + 32 GB Intel® Optane™ memory vs NVMe. Which is better choice?
Sadly having an Ssd already will make the Optane memory obsolete. Since Optane just "caches" for loading quicker. I replaced the Optane modules on both my Omen Laptops for Nvme drives. Great deal for the laptop btw.
