Seeing the SD community come together to downvote a price mistake that the mods made FP is perhaps the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

While the downvotes hurt, at least the reps make me feel better lol

Probably because you're calling customer service about an order with a shipping date of middle of February.

I went to the Perks at Work website and registered my e-mail. They somehow pinned me as an employee of a company I've never heard of using my work e-mail address. I went through the signup anyway and was able to get the EPP discount. Trying to find a way to cancel my first order now without the discount. I don't see a cancel button that is mentioned. lol.

I think HP has a tendency to cancel orders and this appears to be a clear pricing error that will result in cancellations. That's my guess anyway.
It doesn't matter this deal has already been posted everywhere already

Wow haven't seen a 3070, let alone a 140w one go for less than 1500$. Ship date of 2/14/22. Buy now, think later?
Bought 2 Legion 5 Gen 6 (17" FHD 144hz, 5800H, 3070 130w, 16gb, 1tb nvme) from Lenovo last year for $1150 each. Lots of other people did too. Search for the thread.

Plus ID.me 6% discount…

Plus got 10% cash back from the "cannot be named here" site…

Soo…

This is still an awesome deal!! Hope it's a full powered 3070…

With samsung Vram these HPs will get 68MH/s at 115 watts. Temps in the low 50's on the GPU.
What's the hot spot temp? I can't imagine it being below 95.

Time to retire an oldie but goodie HP if this ships. Thanks OP!
I am posting this on this very same laptop (Omen 17 with 3070) I just got 2 weeks ago. Ordered it with deep discount for around $1250 last year and just got it now. It is an amazing laptop so far. I would do it again at the price I paid. Under $1000 is a steal.

Just expect delay from HP.. usually a month to 3.

Last fall it was about $150/month/laptop. Now it is about $90. I also have 13 3090s, 18 1660 supers, 4 3080 non lhrs as well.
All those gpus and you're only making $90 a month?? Take forever to get money back…

Is that after paying electricity?

Why people giving negative points?
OG's like us trying to keep the deal from blowing up and getting cancelled. But the mods already frontpaged it because they want to earn their commission from HP for referral

Why would they make this FP and risk 0% commission vs a few of us getting deals and getting SOME commission?

I wasn't able to see the additional discount until I attempted to checkout.
