Seeing the SD community come together to downvote a price mistake that the mods made FP is perhaps the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

While the downvotes hurt, at least the reps make me feel better lol

Probably because you're calling customer service about an order with a shipping date of middle of February.

Awesome! Been trolling for a laptop deal, and didn't expect something like this to come around so soon. Using my perks at work email from Chrysler, I got one shipped for $902.59.

What would the equivalent desktop GPU when compared to the performance of the 3070 in this laptop? I got my hands on a 3060 for $550, but may return it and roll with this.
It's the same chip with same performance. Your limiting factor is thermals. The desktop 3070 will have the advantage of clocking higher due to having a larger power budget of more than 200w.

With my EPP it comes to $851 for me. So tempted but my wife would kill me as I have a i5/1050ti/16GB I never have time to play with. If I was single I would buy it all day and sell my old one for a few $100.

Killer deal.
Sounds like you need a new wife if she cannot see the wisdom in you getting this laptop that will pay for itself via mining.

Is anyone else seeing the deal score for this deal as -100? What's up with that? Seems like a bug with SlickDeals.

To be fair, that is the price it should be. It is basically MSRP. We just got used to seeing the very high inflated prices.

How did you get you Perks to work? I am still getting the $989 when I go through perks.
