Umm I didn't have symptoms and tested positive. I only took test because my daughter tested positive.

If the site doesn't crash

Got this email from Kaiser -

Kaiser Permanente to cover cost of COVID-19 rapid antigen home tests
Following guidance from the Biden administration, Kaiser Permanente will now reimburse members for FDA-approved rapid antigen home tests. Submit a reimbursement claim here for tests purchased on or after January 15, 2022.

Anyone know what the expiration is like for these? There was a different at home test that was only good for a month from what people were saying.

"Free" tests.

In some way, shape, or form we're paying for these.

Exactly. As someone who works for an insurance company, I can assure you that every $1.00 they give out they will require at least a $1.50 in return. It's amazing people don't see this. Nothing is free!

Excellent work, Captain Stubing.

What they should have said was "wait until Wednesday, when you can get some tests that you are paying for, or will eventually pay for, with your taxes as opposed to these which you have not paid for with your taxes but will instead run about $50 out of pocket after tax, while you're also simultaneously funding those government tests that can be ordered for no additional money."

Excuse me while I report this transgression to the proper authorities.

Well, good to see gov move. However, I would never count on gov. Do whatever you need for yourself.

If you work in insurance you should realize how profitable insurance companies have been during the pandemic. Because of elective procedures being cancelled and people overall not going to the hospital, they are making a bank right now.

Yet we didn't see any insurance discounts or refunds.

Let me re-word that "free"- "Next week, insurance company funded tests are going to be available. Mind as well get the tests you are paying for"

FYI- Target has the single version of these for $5 each, limit 5, but only ship with $35 purchase. They go in and out of stock rather frequently- best to have a $10 gift card in cart and set an In-Stock alert.

I understand paying a premium for immediate availability, but just throwing it out there for those that may not be reimbursed / unable to get free government ones.
