I dunno guys. This model isn't compatible with extreme fighting like the D2. I'm gonna have to sit this one out as all my fighting is extreme and not general/regular.

I've had a USMC Kabar for ten years and it is a quality knife. The USSF stamp on this one is pretty neat. But if someone seriously only wanted to own one knife, I wouldn't recommend this one. Kabars are huge, the overall length just shy of a foot. Get something you can fold in your pocket or wear on your belt that won't look like an extra from Red Dawn.

One decent knife for what purpose?

There are probably better options for most practical uses, but if you like this one, it can work as a general outdoors knife.
