So this is a good deal if you really want the case BUT I will say the case is awful. I don't know if I just got unlucky but from day 1, the zipper was constantly getting stuck (even with nothing in the case to get stuck on). Eventually the pull came off zipper itself, so it does that thing where it unzips as you zip it up, rendering it completely useless. I think they were going for a hidden zipper look, but it's just poorly executed. I bought it from AAFES with the pack with the battery/strap, so there's no point in returning since I assume I'd have to return the battery strap as well (which has been great). I ended up buying an Apache 3800 case from Harbor Freight on sale for ~35 and so far I love it. I was able to cut the foam the way I wanted, and easily fit the Oculus (with battery strap), 2 controllers, and charger no issue. Just my humble 2 cents…

Looks like it's cheaper to get case and strap together on Amazon than to buy them separately at sale prices at Target.

They just refreshed the storage capacity last year and rumors have only pointed to them working on a new pro model to compete with the likes of valve index. With that in mind, I think you're good buying this headset for the foreseeable future
